Arthritis Australia recommends Exercise, Tai Chi and Mindfulness (MBSR) as part of strategies to manage the pain and discomfort of Arthritis.

Join Bjorn in this 7 week course that will teach you gentle Tai Chi techniques specifically designed for joint pain, basic mindfulness practices and current medical approaches to managing chronic pain.

This course is for you if …

  • you have arthritis or other joint pain
  • you suffer from stiffness or soreness
  • you want to have less pain and discomfort
  • you want more freedom of movement
  • you want to learn simple movements that can be done by anyone standing or sitting
  • you want to maximise ease of movements as you age
  • you are willing to invest a few minutes a day to get back the joy of easy movement.

Run over seven Thursday mornings, this 60 minute class starts  9:30 am in the CWA Hall 50 Church St, Maitland.

All ages and capabilities are welcome. Can be done seated or standing.
